Tips and Pearls

- The type and ripeness of the tomatoes you use can significantly impact the flavour of the chutney. It is important to keep this in mind when following a recipe, and to feel free to add your own twist and personality to the dish. To help balance out the flavor of the tomato, you can add a little sugar or lemon juice to the chutney. Use the recipes provided as a guide, but don't be afraid to make adjustments and experiment to find the perfect combination of flavours for your taste.
2. It is important to make the spice paste before adding any tomatoes as the liquid from the tomato will make it hard to grind everything evenly.
